Beecher Pass Cabin (P-23)
- Location: South side of Beecher Pass on Woewodski Island
- Access: 30 minutes by air and 20 miles by boat from Petersburg.
- Tide: Any, no buoy.
- Unapproved Water Source: Creek 100 yard east of cabin.
- Fish/Wildlife: King salmon (July), silver salmon (August) and halibut. Waterfowl (in Duncan Canal) and grouse.
- Seasonal Use: N.A.

Big John Bay Cabin (P-15)
- Location: North end of Big John Bay at the north end of Rocky Pass, on the west side of Kupreanof Island.
- Access: 30 minutes by air and 18 miles by boat from Kake. Trail is 1-1/2 miles from roadside from Kake. No trail access during high tide. 15 ft. tide required for boat or plane, or 1 mile hike in mud.
- Tide: 15 ft. tide required for boat or plane access. No buoy.
- Unapproved Water Source: Creek 1/2 mile north of cabin.
- Fish/Wildlife: Grouse,black bear and waterfowl.
- Seasonal Use: N.A.

Breiland Slough Cabin (P-12)
- Location: West side of Duncan Canal, south of Castle Island.
- Access: 30 minutes by air and 25 miles by boat from Petersburg.
- Tide: N.A.
- Unapproved Water Source: Small creek 1/4 mile south of cabin.
- Fish/Wildlife: Excellent silver salmon fishing in front of cabin in August. Grouse and waterfowl.
- Seasonal Use: N.A.

Cascade Creek Cabin (P-21)
- Location: In Thomas Bay south of Cascade Creek east of Spray Island.
- Access: 30 minutes by air and 19 miles by boat from Petersburg.
- Tide: No buoy.
- Unapproved Water Source: Small creek next to cabin.
- Fish/Wildlife: Moose, deer, goat, waterfowl, grouse. King salmon trolling in June, and halibut at mouth of bay in the summer. Nearby Cascade Creek Trail offers excellent hiking and alpine scenery. Crab and shrimp in Thomas Bay.
- Seasonal Use: N.A.

Castle Flats Cabin (P-10)
- Location: On edge of mud flats of Castle River in Duncan Canal.
- Access: 30 minutes by air and 30 miles by boat from Petersburg.
- Tide: 15 ft. tide required for plane, 13 ft. tide for boat, or 2 mile hike in mud.
- Unapproved Water Source: Small creek west of cabin.
- Fish/Wildlife: Black bear, waterfowl, grouse. Steelhead in April and May, trout in May to October, excellent silver salmon in August. Boat provided and secured in front of cabin. Please return and secure to prevent tide from carrying it away. 1 mile trail to Castle River and Castle River cabin.

Castle River Cabin (P-11)
- Location: On the mouth of Castle River in Duncan Canal.
- Access: 30 minutes by air (must walk from Castle Flats cabin) and 30 miles by boat from Petersburg.
- Tide: 16 ft. tide required for boat directly to cabin. 1 mile trail from Castle Flats cabin with 13 ft. tide for boat access, 15 ft. tide for plane, or 2 mile walk in mud.
- Unapproved Water Source: Castle River.
- Fish/Wildlife: Black bear, waterfowl, grouse. Steelhead in April and May, trout in May to October, excellent silver salmon in August. 1/2 mile trail to boat on extensive river system. Please secure boat to tie-up to prevent current from sweeping it over rocks. 1 mile trail to Castle Flats cabin.

Deboer Lake Cabin (P-1)
- Location: Mainland above Thomas Bay at west end of lake (elev. 1,420 ft.).
- Access: 30 minutes by air from Petersburg. Fog and high winds can prevent scheduled flights for pickups, sometimes for several days.
- Tide: N.A.
- Unapproved Water Source: From lake, which may remain frozen until early July and is subject to October snowfall.
- Fish/Wildlife: Goats, ptarmigan. Fair rainbow trout fishing all summer. Hiking, climbing, and alpine scenery excellent July through September.
- Seasonal Use: June - November

Devil's Elbow Cabin (P-9)
- Location: East side of Kuiu Island at the south end of Rocky Pass.
- Access: 40 minutes by air from Petersburg and 26 miles by boat from Kake.
- Tide: 16 ft. tide required for plane, or 1/2 mile walk.
- Unapproved Water Source: Small creek 1/4 mile north of cabin.
- Fish/Wildlife: Grouse and excellent waterfowl hunting. Silver salmon in August and September. Interesting rock formations at low tide. Canoe/kayak opportunities in Rocky Pass.
- Seasonal Use: N.A.

Harvey Lake Cabin (P-13)
- Location: On Woewodski Island at the west end of Harvey Lake (elev. 100 ft.).
- Access: 30 minutes by air and 21 miles by boat (plus an easy 1 mile trail from saltwater) from Petersburg.
- Tide: N.A.
- Unapproved Water Source: Harvey Lake.
- Fish/Wildlife: Grouse. Cutthroat trout in June and September, silver salmon at the saltwater end of the trail in August. Sand-filled bulkhead and picnic grills add to small beach and swimming area by cabin. Usually ice-free May to November. Old mining activity in area.

Kadake Bay Cabin (P-8)
- Location: On northeast Kuiu at the mouth of Kadake Creek.
- Access: 50 minutes by air from Petersburg (planes land at mouth of bay; requires 2 mile hike on mud) and 13 miles by boat from Kake.
- Tide: 18 ft. tide required or 2 mile walk in mud.
- Unapproved Water Source: Kadake Creek.
- Fish/Wildlife: Grouse, waterfowl, excellent black bear. Silver salmon in August, pink salmon in mid-July to mid-August, steelhead in April and May, trout (excellent) May to October. Photo opportunities.
- Seasonal Use: N.A.

Kah Sheets Bay Cabin (P-20)
- Location: South end of Kupreanof Island at the mouth of Kah Sheets Creek.
- Access: 30 minutes by air and 24 miles by boat from Petersburg.
- Tide: 15 ft. tide required for plane or boat or 1/2 mile walk in mud.
- Unapproved Water Source: Kah Sheets Creek.
- Fish/Wildlife: Grouse, waterfowl, black bear. Red salmon in July, silver salmon in August and September, pink salmon in August, steelhead in April and May, trout May to September. 2-3/4 mile trail to Kah Sheets Lake and Kah Sheets Lake Cabin. Beachcombing.

Kah Sheets Lake Cabin (P-19)
- Location: South end of Kupreanof Island above Kah Sheets Bay (elev. 156 ft.).
- Access: 30 minutes by air and 24 miles by boat (plus a 2-3/4 mile trail from saltwater) from Petersburg.
- Tide: N.A. (on a lake)
- Unapproved Water Source: Kah Sheets Lake. Usually ice-free May through November.
- Fish/Wildlife: Grouse (August to May 15), trout (May to September), red salmon (in July), silver salmon (August to September) down trail at falls. 2-3/4 mile trail to Kah Sheets Bay and Kah Sheets Bay Cabin. The dock, cabin, and outhouse associated with this cabin were designed to be wheelchair accessible.

Petersburg Lake Cabin (P-7)
- Location: On Kupreanof Island near the south end of Petersburg Lake (elev. 103 ft.) within Petersburg Creek-Duncan Salt Chuck Wilderness.
- Access: 15 minutes by air or 4 miles by boat (plus a 6-1/2 mile trail) or a 1/2 mile by boat (plus 10-1/2 mile trail) from Petersburg.
- Tide: 15 ft. tide required for boat via 6-1/2 mile trail.
- Unapproved Water Source: Petersburg Lake, usually ice-free April through November.
- Fish/Wildlife: Grouse, trout (May to October), ice fishing in winter, red salmon (July), silver salmon (August and September), pink salmon (mid-July to mid-August), steelhead (April and May) at saltwater end of trail. Cross country skiing. Primitive trail to Portage Bay and Duncan Salt Chuck.
- Seasonal Use: April - December

Portage Bay Cabin (P-25)
- Location: On the eastern shore of Portage Bay on Kupreanof Island due east of Stop Island.
- Access: 30 minutes by air or 25 miles by boat from Petersburg.
- Tide: N.A.
- Unapproved Water Source: Creek 100 ft. south of cabin.
- Fish/Wildlife: Black bear, waterfowl, grouse. Silver salmon (August and September), pink salmon (August), steelhead (April and May), trout (May to October) at Portage Creek (1 mile from cabin). Halibut at mouth of bay. A short hike to a gravel road.
- Seasonal Use: N.A.

Ravens Roost Cabin (P-22)
- Location: On Mitkof on the mountain behind Petersburg airport.
- Access: 3 miles by helicopter only, 3.9 miles by trail from near the orange and white tank south of the airport. Middle section of trail is very steep, then flattens along ridge top. Allow 3 hours for ascent.
- Tide: N.A.
- Unapproved Water Source: Muskeg pools, melted snow.
- Fish/Wildlife: Grouse, hiking, snowshoeing/cross country skiing. Scenery excellent all year. Oil stove - bring oil.
- Seasonal Use: N.A.

Salt Chuck East Cabin (P-4)
- Location: On Kupreanof Island on the east side of Duncan Canal Salt Chuck, within Petersburg Creek-Duncan Salt Chuck Wilderness.
- Access: 30 minutes by air or 40 miles by boat from Petersburg.
- Tide: 14 ft. tide required to clear rocks in rapids south of the Salt Chuck. Navigable only at high slack tide (3/4 hour after high tide - tides are 1 hour later than published times).
- Unapproved Water Source: Small creek near cabin.
- Fish/Wildlife: Black bear, waterfowl, and grouse, Silver salmon (August and September), steelhead (April and May), trout (excellent June to September). Primitive trail to Portage Bay and Petersburg Lake.
- Seasonal Use: N.A.

Spurt Cove Cabin (P-24)
- Location: On the north side of Thomas Bay.
- Access: 30 minutes by air or 18 miles by boat from Petersburg.
- Tide: Some floatplanes will not enter the bay at any tide.
- Unapproved Water Source: Small stream near cabin.
- Fish/Wildlife: Deer, goat, waterfowl, grouse, orca whales and porpoises have been reported near the mouth of the cove. King salmon trolling May and June in Thomas Bay, halibut at mouth of bay.
- Seasonal Use: N.A.

Swan Lake Cabin (P-16)
- Location: On mainland above Thomas Bay, east end of lake (elev. 1,514 ft.).
- Access: 30 minutes by air from Petersburg. Fog and high winds can prevent scheduled flights in or pickups, sometimes for several days. Take extra food and supplies. Lake may remain frozen until late June and is subject to October snowfall and icing.
- Tide: N.A.
- Unapproved Water Source: Small creek near cabin.
- Fish/Wildlife: Goats, rainbow trout (excellent fishing in Swan and Falls lake - elev. 1,1,57 ft., 2 mile trail). Hiking; scenery; photo opportunities; rock, ice, glacier climbing. Cascade Creek trail (need good hiking skills) from west end of lake (north side of creek) to Falls Lake (2 miles), Thomas Bay (4 miles), and Cascade Creek cabin (5 miles). Must use boat to reach trail. Take care approaching the lake outlet (it can carry the boat over falls) and tie boat securely. Terminus of Cascade Creek Trail located on north side of outlet.

Towers Arm Cabin (P-17)
- Location: On the western shore of Towers Arm on Kupreanof Island, an extension of Duncan Canal.
- Access: 30 minutes by air or 38 miles by boat from Petersburg.
- Tide: 15 ft. tide or higher required for plane or boat access. 4 mile hike in mud at low tide.
- Unapproved Water Source: Creek north of cabin.
- Fish/Wildlife: Excellent waterfowl viewing (September-November), black bear, grouse. Silver salmon (August through September), steelhead (April through May) at Towers Creek north of cabin.
- Seasonal Use: N.A.

West Point Cabin (P-26)
- Location: On Kupreanof Island at the mouth of Portage Bay.
- Access: 30 minutes by air or 24 miles by boat from Petersburg.
- Tide: N.A.
- Unapproved Water Source: Small stream 1/2 mile west of cabin. Best to bring water.
- Fish/Wildlife: Black bear, waterfowl, saltwater fishing for King salmon, silver salmon, halibut. Whales in Frederick Sound. Excellent beach hiking. The dock, cabin, and trail associated with this cabin were designed and built to be wheelchair accessible.
- Seasonal Use: N.A.

Falls Lake Shelter (no fee)
- Location: Near Falls Lake on mainland above Thomas Bay on Cascade Creek Trail.
- Access: 3-1/2 mile hike from saltwater trailhead or 1 mile hike from lower end of Swan Lake if coming from Swan Lake Cabin via rowboat.
- Tide: N.A.
- Unapproved Water Source: Lake or creek.
- Fish/Wildlife: Rustic three-sided shelter. Excellent hiking, scenery and fishing (rainbow trout). "Pack it in, pack it out" policy. Please follow "low impact" camping guidelines. No outhouse. No fires please.
- Seasonal Use: N.A.

Three Lakes Shelter (no fee)
- Location: On Mitkof Island.
- Access: Can be reached from Sand, Hill and Crane Lake trailheads on the Three Lakes trail system located on Forest Road #6235 (an easy hike, all access under 1-1/2 miles on boardwalk)
- Tide: N.A.
- Unapproved Water Source: Lake.
- Fish/Wildlife: Circa 1936 three-sided shelter with picnic table. "Pack it in, pack it out" policy. Please follow "low impact" camping guidelines. No outhouse. No fires please.
- Seasonal Use: N.A.
