Mooring Buoys
A reservation for a Forest Service cabin does not include exclusive use of the buoy if one is located near the cabin. Buoy use is on a first-come, first-served basis; however, use and mooring of more than one vessel is permitted, provided the first party there agrees.
Suggested guidelines for mooring to buoys:
Three vessels less than 21 feet.
- Two vessels more than 21 feet but less than 30 feet.
- No rafting of vessels over 30 feet.
- Leaving a skiff or any personal property at a buoy, float or dock does not reserve a moorage site. Others may use the space if it is not occupied.
