USFS - Chugach National Forest Recreation Cabins
Kenai Peninsula Area
Note: There are 19 national forest public recreation cabins in the Kenai Peninsula area. Motor vehicle and horse closure are in effect for certain times of year for all cabins on trails. Horses must be tied a minimum of 200 feet from any public recreation cabin, lake, stream or trail.

Crow Pass (G-1)
- Location: Chugach Mountains.
- Elevation: 3,400 feet
- Access: Via Crow Creek Trail 3 miles from Crow Pass trailhead.
- Cabin Style: A-frame with loft, 6 bunks, sleeps 10 with space in loft, no stove.
- Unapproved Water Source: N.A.
- Description: Cabin is above timberline. Main attractions are the alpine setting, mining ruins and Raven Glacier nearby.

Upper Paradise Lake (S-1)
- Location: Kenai Mountains.
- Elevation: 1,340 feet
- Access: Via floatplane (15 minutes from Moose Pass; 25 minutes from Seward). There is no maintained trail to this cabin.
- Cabin Style: 12x14 foot cabin. Bunks six; wood stove. Very limited firewood in area.

Limited winter and spring access via Carter Lake Trail due to avalanche hazard on Crescent Lake Trail. Low standard, primitive trail along Crescent Lake to cabin. Limited winter access, ice crossing may be necessary.
